Lake Castaic is another one of Southern California's productive big bass lakes. Castaic is open every day except Christmas from sunrise to sunset.

From the South (Los Angeles)

• Take the 5 Freeway north to Santa Clarita
• Exit Parker Rd. Right on to Parker Rd.
  
• Turn Right on Lake Hughs Rd.
• Continue right on Lake Hughs Rd., go past the small lake on your left. Go up the hill about 2 miles, look for main Marina sign and turn left

From the north (Santa Barbara )

• Take the 101 Freeway South to Ventura
• Take the 126 Freeway to Santa Clarita
• Take the 5 Freeway North to New hall
• Follow Directions 2 through 4 above.
